One of the most famous race cars in New Zealand . The Sidchrome mustang started life as a road Boss 302 and was converted in a farm shed by Jim Richards and Murray Bunn into a race car and completed at Jerry Clayton Motors on the Great North Road. Competition debut at Bay Park in 1973 and won the 72/73 NZ Saloon car title. Campaigned with considerable success in Australia against formidable opposition and retired to NZ at the end of 1976.
